SIGNATURE RENTALS TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

  • In order for our team to continue to offer a great service we have a minimum hire order of €250.00 in place
  • The hire charge is based on a one day period, covering supply on one working day, use on the second working day and return on the third working day. If the hire is for use on a weekend, the hire period is from Friday to Monday.
  • Items are placed on soft hold for 5 working days, upon the client confirming their order. An order is considered booked when a 20% non-refundable deposit payment is made
  • Full payment is required to be paid 10 working days prior to your delivery/collection date. If your event is booked within the 30-day payment requirement, full payment is expected upon booking confirmation
  • A holding deposit payment of €250.00, orders over €1,000, is required against the loss or damage of Signature Rentals hire items. The holding deposit is refundable on return, less the cost of replacement/ repair if applicable
  • All hire items are subject to VAT at 23%
  • Payment is accepted in the form of credit, laser cards and electronic payments, direct to the Signature Rentals account
  • Booking deposits paid are non-refundable to cancellation, change of date or change-of-mind
  • Cancellations 30 days prior to your booking will be eligible for a refund, less the booking deposit
  • Cancellations within 30 days prior to your delivery will be refunded the delivery and pickup fees only. The hire items amount will not be refunded as this is considered loss of opportunity
  • No refund applies to our required 20% booking deposit
  • Booking deposits are not refundable nor transferable; a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to offer you (the client) and Signature Rentals security. By paying your booking deposit the items you have requested will be held for you only on your event date, Signature Rentals will make those items unavailable to other clients once your deposit is received
  • Please select your hire items wisely. We do not allow items to be changed due to loss of opportunity. However, we appreciate guest numbers can change right up until the event date. Therefore, we are happy for quantity changes up until 10 working days before the agreed delivery/collection date
  • Any changes to orders must be made in writing 10 working days before the agreed delivery/collection date

 

 

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

  • Should delivery and collection be required additional costs apply
  • Pick-ups and drop-offs for orders are only available Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm at Unit 37, N17 Business Park, Galway Road, Tuam, Co. Galway, H54 XV08
  • To avoid any late fees, all items must be returned at the agreed date and time
  • It is important to measure your vehicle, before picking up an order to make sure the items will fit in your vehicle. The Signature Rentals team is happy to assist in determining the appropriate vehicle size for the order. However, it is up to the client to make sure the items will fit safely and securely. For Signature Rentals larger furniture pieces and breakables, we need our professionally trained crew to handle the delivery to your venue
  • All crates, boxes & packaging materials supplied must be returned when collecting/returning order
  • All Signature Rentals hire items must be packed and ready for collection, in the original boxing/crates, as they were received
  • Additional labour/delivery costs will incur as a result of any unreasonable delays to the delivery/collection of Signature Rentals hire items to a private property or venue. 30 minutes have been allocated for the driver to offload and load Signature Rentals hire items when on site
  • Should a Signature Rentals driver or team have to re-pack hire items or look for missing pieces, there will be an additional cost for this time

 

 

LOST & DAMAGED GOODS

  • All hire items lost or damaged will be charged to you at the full replacement rate
  • In the event that the original packaging, boxing/crates are misplaced or damaged a replacement charge will incur
  • All our hire bookings at Signature Rentals include a damage waiver – this covers general cleaning after your event. If an item is unreturned, broken or damaged beyond repair, payment of full replacement value is required within seven days.  If an item is returned damaged but repairable, you will be sent an invoice for the cost of repairs and payment is required within seven days
  • Upholstered items that are returned dirty will be professionally cleaned at our warehouse and an invoice will be issued to you for payment. Payment is required within seven days
  • Should a lost item be found it must be returned within two weeks, or a full replacement cost will be charged

 

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPERTY

  • The client shall be responsible for the safe custody of Signature Rentals throughout the rental period
  • All hire items must be returned in the original boxing/crates supplied by Signature Rentals
  • From the time the item(s) is rented out until it is returned, you are responsible for it. If the item(s) is lost, stolen or damaged under any circumstances while rented, regardless of fault, you shall be responsible for all charges, including labour costs, to replace or repair the item(s)
